On behalf of the 2019 International Wheat Congress, we would like to welcome you to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the heart of the Canadian Prairies! Surrounded by close to 25 million hectares of farm land in the Province of Saskatchewan, the agriculture and the agri-food sectors drive this economy.
Saskatoon’s agriculture technology cluster includes many research institutes like the University of Saskatchewan, National Research Council, Saskatchewan Research Council, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Canadian Light Source (a 3rd generation Synchrotron) which are all either private industry stakeholders or government organizations.
