11. Brazilian Congress of Cataract and Refractive Surgery-BRASCRS 2021

In the name of all those who make up this exemplary medical society, it is a pleasure to receive you in Salvador. We greatly missed our annual meeting in 2020, which motivates us to make BRASCRS 2021 "the big event" of our specialty.

Social distancing has taught us much more than expected, allowing us to create tools to over this moment. The remote meetings alleviated some of the serious crisis experienced in 2020, is fundamental in the updating of our knowledge. In Salvador, we are expecting colleagues from various subspecialties from all over Brazil and the world to more intensely discuss all the newest developments.

The day to day routines in our consultation offices and surgical centers will have special emphasis so that the patients always receive the best we have to offer. Our scientific committee is producing very broad programming directed to our Cataract and Refractive Surgery subspecialties. Topics of interest for both the most experienced professionals and those who are just starting in their areas will be addressed.
