15. General Assembly of The Asian Seismological Commission-ASC 2024

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome you to the “ASC General Assembly 2024" to be held in Antalya, Türkiye, November 03-07, 2024.

Where better could this be than in Antalya because of its natural and historical background? Antalya is blessed with an amazing climate for the whole year. The main ancient Greek-Roman cites you can visit during the congress in Antalya is Side, Aspendos, Phaselis, Xanthos, and Thermessos. Inside, you can visit Apollo Temple, where Anthony met Cleopatra there! Some of these ancient cities are on the UNESCO's World Heritage List. You can also visit Great Seljuk Empire period historical places such as the Yivli Minaret, Alaeddin Mosque, Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev Medrese, in the city center of Antalya. During the conference, you will love the sea, nature, beautiful beaches, and delicious Turkish food. We will present you with a very enjoyable congress with beautiful events and shows related to local culture.

We expect that the topics, from seismology, engineering seismology, tectonic, geohazard prediction, site investigation with Geophysics and Geology Studies, geophysical and other non-destructive studies of buildings safety before and after an earthquake, case studies about countries from Asia, North Africa, Middle East and Europe. The conference will undoubtedly attract geoscientists, engineers, representatives of companies, researchers and students from many different countries. We expect you will have an interesting and rewarding time by attending talks, visiting the exhibition, and enjoying the social program.
