From March 27th to 30th, 2019 the 18th Congress of our Academy will be held in Foz do Iguaçu. "Neurosurgery: next steps" was the chosen theme because we intend to organize an innovative scientific event that should open new perspectives and improvement of knowledge for young colleagues starting their careers and also for the most experienced ones.
Several leading neurosurgeons from USA, Canada and Europe have accepted our invitation to come to our congress. It is our intention to promote a broad integration with neurosurgical colleagues from several Latin America countries. The Argentine and the Colombian Association of Neurosurgery, as well as the Chilean Society of Neurosurgery will organize "joint meetings" with our Academy.
Neurosurgeons from other neighboring countries will also have the opportunity to exchange their experiences with us. March in Foz do Iguaçu is extremely delightful and we are preparing for the participants and their family many options to enjoy this unique region.
