Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the International Congress on Thrombosis (ICT) 2021 and the Executive Board of the European and Mediterranean League against Thrombotic Diseases (EMLTD), it is my great pleasure and privilege to invite you to the ICT 2021.
In light of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and its likely impact on travel restrictions and physical distancing requirements well into 2021, the EMLTD has decided to transform the ICT 2021 into an innovative virtual congress. The transformation to a digital experience will allow us to unlock the opportunity to be together and make the congress even more accessible to a worldwide audience.
The Congress Organizing Committee will make any possible effort to adapt the participant experience from previous EMLTD congresses to the digital world in order to offer attendees a high-quality scientific program and in parallel the possibility for educational exchanges, and scientific news, while protecting the safety and well-being of all participants.
The ICT 2021 welcomes both clinicians and basic researchers for high-level interdisciplinary exchange.
The congress will bring the best and most novel advances in Thrombosis and related scientific topics to attending delegates. In this regard we have created a unique programme which covers the whole spectrum of basic, translational and clinical aspects of thrombosis, platelets, coagulation, fibrinolysis, haemostasis and vascular biology.
We are very happy to invite you to attend the ICT 2021 on November 26-27, 2021 and we are confident that the ICT 2021 will create an excellent opportunity for all participants to gain new ideas, inspiration to advance their research, and opportunities to establish new collaborations on Thrombosis and related diseases. The quality of the scientific programme and the participation of internationally recognized invited speakers will make the ICT 2021 an unforgettable scientific event.
