It is a great pleasure and a privilege to welcome all of you to the 28th FAOBMB and 2nd CBSL Conference; “Biochemistry and Molecular Biology for the Future”, to be held in Colombo from 11th-13th June 2020 at Hilton Colombo. The Young Scientists’ Programme will be held on the 10th of June. This conference will bring together the Biochemists and Molecular Biologists as well as researchers of related disciplines from Asia and Oceania to a single platform where knowledge would be exchanged on how best the potential scientific research needs of the region could be addressed.
