I would like to salute all of you for your contribution in the battle of Covid. Please continue to work in the interest of humankind.
I also take this opportunity as President of IFAS to welcome and request all of you to register in large numbers for this unique Annual National Conference of IFAS in Kolkata which will be total Virtual using the best digital technology to give you a feel of real time in the safe boundaries of your home.
The Organizing team and Organizing Secretary Dr. Abhijit Bandyopadhyay has left no stone unturned to create a memorable annual IFAS meeting to give the best academic feast but served in a different virtual plate.
Your participation will not only encourage us to do better but will help us to set a new and novel platform in health education for professionals. I request you all to avail the best and updated knowledge of the evolving concepts in foot and ankle surgery coming from the best brains in Foot and Ankle surgery internationally and nationally. This conference will amalgamate lectures, surgical videos and case discussions to stimulate your keen interest. We have also made arrangements to present the GBM in virtual mode and hope to see a large participation and also witness the handover ceremony.
Last but not the least, I welcome new members into this fold and hope more of you join this privileged group to learn and do better in the foot and ankle issues in your own clinical and surgical practice.
Save the Diabetic Foot was my theme as President and I look forward to continuing my efforts to improve the care of this dreaded condition by increasing awareness and providing protocols to cater to this disease in a multidisciplinary approach.
