Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Organising Committee of the fourth European Emergency Medical Services Congress, and the Madrid City Council, I have the honour of inviting you to participate actively in EMS2019.
EMS2019 will take place from 26-18 April 2019. For the first time, the congress will be held in Madrid. We invite you to visit this cosmopolitan city where everyone feels at home. An ideal place for new trends, business, and relaxation. The capital of Spain offers a safe and comfortable environment where enjoying leisure time and doing business are equally pleasant.
Through innovation, participation and a creative approach, EMS2019 will provide the latest knowledge in the field of EMS, addressing all aspects of the area including the reception of citizen demand, newly applied technologies, new care procedures and aspects related to the management of services and incidents with multiple victims.
Through a selection of speakers from around the world, cutting-edge studies, research and procedures will be presented. Alongside this, EMS2019 will feature exciting innovative sessions, simulation-based workshops, the European EMS Championship and a large disaster drill with more than 500 participants, where all European Emergency Services can participate. In summary, the main objective of EMS2019 is to ensure international excellence in emergency care.
The Organising Committee of EMS2019 recognises and strongly values a constructive partnership with the industry. As a result of this, the commercial exhibition will be a focal point of the congress. The program is structured to optimise the opportunity for the participants to visit the exhibition and interact with the exhibitors and/or sponsors. The excellent location of the congress offers exhibition stands conveniently located close to the session rooms. Breaks between sessions are enjoyed in the exhibition area as well.
