6. International West Asia Congress of Tourism Research-IWACT 2022

Dear Academic Scientists, Researchers and Industry Representatives,

We have been struggling with the challenges and destruction caused by the pandemic, and also a year of estimations and planning how tourism exactly would be in the future and where it would evolve to in the next year. The current crisis in tourism is greater than the previous crises and probably its impacts will last longer compared to the previous ones. However, the truth is that every crisis also contains the seeds of opportunity. First, strategies that heavily rely on the norms of the past must be left and replaced with the approaches that focus on the future and adapting to the transformations ahead. The new norms that became a part of our lives entail redesigning the tourism, which has a high potential in terms of enhancing our social, cultural and economic wealth, for the benefit of everyone.

The 6th International West Asia Congress of Tourism Research will be an effective platform for the discussions on restructuring the post-pandemic tourism and transforming the tourism into an optimal design.

As the Co-ordinators of the 6th International West Asia Congress of Tourism Research (IWACT'22) that will take place on 16-18 June 2022 in Tbilisi, Georgia, we would like to invite the academic scientists, researchers and industry representatives to submit papers in both Turkish and English languages.
