SEWC-Turkey Group, established in 2014 under the patronage of Architecture Foundation Turkey (MIV), cordially invites you to participate in the seventh edition of the International Structural Engineers World Congress – 7th SEWC 2019 on Architecture and Structure: From Past to Future. The Congress will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, in 24-26 April 2019.

Istanbul that has been the capital city of different empires throughout history, has numerous architectural and cultural historical structures. While attending high level conference, participants will enjoy the history, charm and beauty of the city of eight thousand years. Istanbul built on two continents linking East and West is one of the most suitable places to discuss the Architecture and Structure from past to future of timber structures and foster ideas on new developments and future researches.

The scope of SEWC2019 International Conference will provide a unique forum to disseminate the knowledge of the most advanced technologies on Structures and Architecture, promote the comprehension of complex architectural and structural applications, enhance dialogue among worldwide professionals from broad range of disciplines and explore the historical and ontological aspects of the relationship between architecture and other engineering disciplines. A friendly environment will be provided for all participants to share their experience and develop new ideas and joint researches.
The conference is intended for an audience of researchers and practitioners world-wide with a background in architecture and engineering disciplines related to structure. It includes architects, structural and construction engineers, builders and building consultants, construction industry persons, academics, researchers, students, product manufacturers, material suppliers, project managers and contract administrators, asset managers, government authorities of infrastructure development and others.
