The Congress in 2019
The APSC hosts its main Congress every year. APSC 2019, the next main Congress of APSC, will be held in Manila, Philippines from May 22-26, 2019 with the theme "Unity in Diversity: Setting Global Standards in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and Management." The Organizing Team is spearheaded by the President of the Philippine Heart Association, Dr. Nannette Rey. The regional meeting will coincide with the PHA 50th Annual Convention & Scientific Meeting.
Congress Objectives
*Review and discuss the gaps and opportunities in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease across the different countries in the Asia-Pacific region
*Discuss different strategies in translating clinical trial evidence and clinical guidelines into patient care
*Present updates in risk factor assessment and management and provide most recent innovations in disease diagnosis and intervention
Target Audience
Cardiologists, internists, primary care physicians, healthcare providers either local, regional or international with interest in cardiovascular disease prevention and management.
