ESSR Tumor Course 2019

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of MSK subspecialty of Turkish Radiology Society, we are pleased to invite you to join the ESSR Tumor Course 2019 which will be held in Izmir, Turkey on October 4-5, 2019.

The European Society of musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) is one of the largest radiological society in radiology with more than 1800 members. ESSR has different subcommittees including the tumors and the society is very active on all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging education. Turkish Radiology Society (TSR) was established in 1924, a highly regarded society; and the primary decision making authority in the field of radiology in Turkey. Today TSR has more than 4500 members and several subcommittees including MSK radiology which has cooperation with ESSR.

Izmir is located in the west of Turkey and on Aegean shores. Izmir is the third largest city in Turkey with 8500 year history and different civilizations, favorable climate and has wonderful natural environment. Izmir is 3-4 hours away from many countries in Asia, Europe and Africa by plane, it’s possible to travel easily from Izmir to 86 cities in 36 countries with direct flights or with 1 hour connecting flights from Istanbul to many parts of the world.

This course is covered with extensive knowledge about not only diagnosis of bone and soft tissue tumors but also treatment options. The colleagues from different backgrounds will have a chance to share their experience about bone and soft tissue tumors.
