EURO-CIU 30. Anniversary and 15. EURO-CIU Symposium

It is a pleasure and great honour to welcome you, on behalf of Cochlear Implant Derneği (Cochlear Implant Association), CID Türkiye, to EURO-CIU's 30th Anniversary and 15th EURO-CIU Symposium, Past, Present and Future: The Journey of listening with cochlear implants, in Istanbul.

Türkiye has been a centre of excellence in cochlear implantation for decades, with leading experts advancing ground-breaking practices in both paediatric and adult cochlear implantation. Since the inception of cochlear implant programs, the Cochlear Implant Association has played a critical role in providing information among families and building bridges between families and professionals.

We are honoured to once again host the 15th EURO-CIU Symposium, marking an important occasion for the cochlear implant community in Türkiye. This event provides a unique opportunity to demonstrate the advancements in cochlear implantation over the past three decades and the profound impact these have had on the lives of individuals with hearing loss and their families.

Istanbul is an ideal location for this gathering, offering excellent travel connections to major European and international hubs, and world-class conference facilities designed to accommodate the diverse needs of a global event of this scale.
