Dear Colleagues,
The FACTA board is very excited about our upcoming conference and we are looking forward to seeing as many of you in person in Brisbane in April 2022.
While the pandemic is certainly not over, the easing of restrictions regarding travel and high vaccination rates across Australia and New Zealand will ensure a rewarding meeting for all delegates. To avoid disappointment we encourage all of you to register as early as you can as places are limited. Abstract submission is open and we look forward to receiving scientific contributions for the conference (abstract submission closes 31st Jan, 2022).
We have made changes to our scientific programme – in the recent e-zine you will discover that our new keynote speaker Professor Thomas Kraemer will be an excellent addition to our program (Marilyn Huestis is unfortunately not able to attend our meeting).
Thomas is an experienced forensic toxicologist from the Zurich Institute of Forensic Medicine and many of you will be familiar with his work. He is well known to many of us and we look forward to having him be part of our meeting.
We are also proud to announce Dr Shaun Greene as another key participant at our meeting and he will give us an insight into clinical toxicology testing in hospital emergency settings.
Take care over the Christmas holidays and we look forward to seeing as many of our members, colleagues and friends next year.
