It has been just few months since the outbreak of COVID-19 in January. The International Advisory Committee (IAC) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of ISVHLD GHS 2020 have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely; COVID-19 outbreak has now been declared as pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Precaution measures against the virus have already been launched to keep social distance and to limit travels. Judging current outbreak status, it is believed that the pandemic shall continue to cast a deep impact around the world for months.
In prioritizing the interest and safety of all delegates, speakers, presenters, sponsors, exhibitors, staff and contractors involved in the congress, IAC and LOC have decided to postpone the 17th International Symposium on Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease – Global Hepatitis Summit (ISVHLD GHS 2020) which is originally scheduled from June 18 to 21 in 2020.
The symposium ISVHLD GHS 2020 will be postponed to Thursday, June 17 to Sunday, June 20, 2021, with the venue remaining as the same at Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), Taipei, Taiwan.
