Dear Partners, Colleagues and Friends,
We hope that you, your family, colleagues and friends are safe during these challenging times.
In light of the continuing global health concerns, the IFSO-EC 2020 Executive Council have taken a difficult decision to postpone the 9th Congress of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders – European Chapter (IFSO-EC) to a later date (autumn 2021).
While we cannot meet in person this year, IFSO-EC Executive Council is preparing the virtual IFSO-EC 2020 conference that will be held on 11 December 2020. The virtual format will combine live streams, exhibitions and Q&A sessions during short and manageable time slots to facilitate real time exchange with and within the international audience. As soon as the virtual IFSO-EC 2020 conference concept is finalised, we will inform all concerned parties (selected speakers, delegates, invitees, …) and publish details on the website.
