The 17. EDS Postgraduate Course

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to the 17th EDS Postgraduate Course, taking place from April 10th to 12th, 2025, at Acibadem University in Istanbul. This year’s course features an extended program of three full days, designed to provide in-depth exploration of the latest advancements in gastrointestinal surgery.

As always, we will kick off the course with a session on evidence-based medicine. Moreover, esteemed experts will not only teach you how to teach and perform robotic surgery but also guide you on how to implement these techniques effectively in practice. Additionally, we will present novel lectures on living-related liver transplantation and the advent of transplantation within the oncological armamentarium. This year’s program will also include state-of-the-art lectures focused on teaching younger surgeons about surgery, education, and research, along with engaging satellite symposiums that will enhance your learning experience.

We are privileged to utilize the exceptional facilities of Acibadem University, particularly the CASE (Center of Advanced Simulation and Education). This state-of-the-art environment is designed to provide you with immersive experiences, allowing you to engage directly with innovative techniques and procedures that are shaping the future of surgery.
