Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure and an honour to host the Wind Energy Science Conference on behalf of the European Academy of Wind Energy.
The vision for WESC is to provide a multi-disciplinary open forum for discussion where delegates can explore the latest developments in wind energy science, spot emerging trends and identify future collaborators.
With this vision in mind, the WESC 2019 technical program has been specifically designed with 8 diverse and cross-cutting Themes in order to attract a broad range of scientist and engineers working in wind energy. Coupled with an exciting social program, we are confident that WESC 2019 will break down some silos and promote a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to wind energy science.
We are exceptionally proud of Cork and the UCC campus. Over the course of WESC 2019, we hope to show you some of the best food, music, sport and culture that our vibrant city and county have to offer.
We hope you will join us for an assembly of outstanding wind energy science.
