Welcome message from WFUMB and ASUM Presidents
The World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) and the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is excited to invite you to travel to Melbourne, Australia for the 17th World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology Congress.
The WFUMB 2019 Congress will be held from Friday 6 September to Monday 9 September 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Victoria, Australia.
In 2019 the Congress will provide an international platform for over 2,000 delegates to exchange ideas, share experiences and interact with world renowned professionals. A global scientific committee lead by A/Prof George Condous as Convenor are assembling the largest ultrasound focused program held in Australia in over five years with nine concurrent streams available to delegates over the four days.
Alongside a packed education program there will be plenty of time to network and catch up with old and new friends at the Welcome Reception inspired by Melbourne’s multicultural food scene and dance the night away at the Gala Dinner at the Regent Theatre’s Plaza Ballroom.
We hope delegates will take the opportunity to extend their stay and enjoy some of the amazing sites in Melbourne and around the rest of Australia. This website is packed full of amazing pre and post conference activities.
