12. Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry International Medicinal Chemistry Symposium-AFMC-AIMECS 2019

It is a great honor for us to invite you to the 12th Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (AFMC) International Medicinal Chemistry Symposium (AFMC-AIMECS 2019) which will be held in Istanbul, Turkey on September 08-11, 2019.

AFMC-AIMECS meetings are the most important international event organized by the Asian Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (AFMC) on the biennial years since its first meeting held in Japan in 1997. AFMC-AIMECS meetings provide a very important and beneficial opportunity for the medicinal chemists to stimulate the exchange of ideas, and to evaluate new methods and new lines of investigation for the contribution to the global progress of drug design and development.

Following the traditions of AFMC-AIMECS meetings, the 12th AIMECS 2019 will also provide an international forum for presentation and discussion, by both highly skilled professionals and young scientists from academia and/or industry by featuring invited lectures, oral talks and poster presentations of recent progress and future trends in all aspects of Medicinal Chemistry.

AFMC-AIMECS 2019 will include sessions organized by the American Chemical Society (ACS) Division of Medicinal Chemistry and the European Federation of Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC) as the participating organizations.

The Scientific Program of the Conference will include invited lectures, oral communications, and poster presentations and the scientific program will comprise parallel sessions in order to give chance to present maximum number of oral communications for discussing on their participated fields.

There will be also activities for the companies' workshops, and the opportunity of a commercial exhibition in the meeting.

Besides the scientific aspects of the meeting, you will have the chance to explore one of the important ancient metropolis of the world, Istanbul. The city Istanbul that, throughout the centuries, sheltered the oldest and greatest cultures and civilizations of the humanity and three major empires ruled the world from this powerful capital, the Romans, the Byzantines and the Ottomans, and each of these left their mark on Istanbul, both culturally and architecturally.

The venue for the 12th AFMC-AIMECS 2019 will be one of the well-known five stars hotel, Elite World Istanbul and it is our intention to make this Symposium a memorable event for the attendees, both scientifically and socially. We look forward to your active participation.
