Dear Colleagues,
Warmest welcome to The 18th Indonesian Congress of Pediatrics (KONIKA XVIII) with the theme “Anak Sehat, Anak Indonesia” (Children’s Health is the Greatest Wealth). The KONIKA is the highest legislative forum in Indonesian Pediatric Society (IPS) which formally held every three years. The KONIKA, which should have been arranged last year, had been postponed due to pandemic COVID-19. This year, the congress, which consists of organization assembly, congress and scientific events, will be organized in virtual environment, and we are confident those events will run smoothly despite the pandemic. Furthermore, the IPS collaborates with other International Societies such as Turkish National Pediatric Society, Asia Pacific Pediatric Association (APPA) and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Hopefully this collaboration will strengthen our working relationships with other pediatric societies and provide a forum for paediatricians and general practitioners to update knowledge related to child health in Indonesia and regional and international settings, according to Sustainable Development Goals 2030...
