18. International Mineral Processing Symposium-IMPS 2024

Dear Colleagues,

The International Mineral Processing Symposium (IMPS), traditionally held biennially, has been internationally recognized since 1986 by five (5) prestigious universities in Turkey, including Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Middle East Technical University, Istanbul Technical University, Hacettepe University, and Dokuz Eylül University, on a rotational basis.

With a history of more than 35 years, the International Mineral Processing Symposium continues to serve as a platform where both domestic and international scientists and professionals in the mineral processing sector share current information, developments, and thoughts on the future of the industry. Undoubtedly, one of the main factors contributing to the symposium's longstanding success has been the support provided by both the public and private sectors. It is anticipated that this tradition of support will continue and grow in the same manner.

The Symposium Executive Board has deemed it appropriate for the 18th International Mineral Processing Symposium to be hosted by Eskişehir Osmangazi University. Scheduled to take place from October 16th to 18th, 2024, in Eskişehir, the symposium honors the memory of Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Özdağ, the chairperson of the 13th International Mineral Processing Symposium.

As we embark on this journey, believing in the continued contributions of both public and private sector firms towards the successful realization of the 18th International Mineral Processing Symposium, we hope to meet in Eskişehir from October 16th to 18th, 2024.
