20. International Congress of The Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists-PRCP 2023

As President of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrists (PRCP) I warmly welcome you all to join us in the 20th PRCP Congress in Kuala Lumpur on 13th –15th October 2023.

The PRCP Congress is expected to deliver a high quality scientific program to promote academic exchange and professional collaboration in psychiatry and mental health across our Region. The theme of the Congress, ‘Building Mental Health Resilience Across the Lifespan’, is both welltimed and significant as many countries in the world are emerging from the impact of the most important challenges of our times. Current global issues including those related to public health, climate change, conflict, diversity and equality issues, all have direct mental health effects.

To address some of these critical mental health impacts, the PRCP Congress will feature the recent development and advances in the field of mental health care globally, and showcase presentations on mental health research evidence as well as mental health education in the region. The Congress will include an impressive range of distinguished speakers, key symposia, hot topics and useful workshops. The program will benefit not only psychiatrists but also mental health professionals from multidisciplinary backgrounds including early career psychiatrists and allied health workers. On-site participants will also enjoy a unique social and cultural program, and the opportunity to visit many sights and experience the cultural hubs in this stunning city.
