FIG (International Federation of Surveyors) is an international non-governmental organization, recognized by the United Nations, that brings together professionals, institutions, and stakeholders working in surveying and geomatics, as well as in the broader fields of spatial information and land administration. FIG’s core mission is to support the development of surveying disciplines and the professionals engaged in these areas in a way that responds to the needs of the markets and societies they serve, and to contribute to the sustainable advancement of the profession through knowledge sharing, professional standards, and international cooperation.
