3. International Turkish Gastric Cancer Congress-ITGCC 2026

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure and privilege, on behalf of the National Gastric Cancer Society, to invite you to participate in the III. International Turkish Gastric Cancer Congress (ITGCC 2026), to be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Çeşme, Izmir, Turkey, on 16 – 17 October 2026. The present congress is being organized by the National Gastric Cancer Association in collaboration with the Izmir Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences Turkey. Also, is being supported scientifically by the International Gastric Cancer Association, the Turkısh Surgery Association, the Turkish Medical Oncology Assosiation and the Gastroenterology Surgery Society.

Gastric cancer remains one of the most challenging malignancies worldwide, requiring true multidisciplinary collaboration and constant innovation in diagnosis and treatment. Remarkable progress in molecular oncology, immunotherapy, precision medicine and minimally invasive surgery over the past decade has reshaped the entire therapeutic landscape. The ITGCC 2026 congress aims to serve as an international platform to discuss these advances, share collective experience and set new directions for the future management of gastric cancer, by bringing together young, enthusiastic physicians and their more experienced, pioneering counterparts.

With the theme 'Challenges and Discussions', the congress will feature an inspiring scientific programme designed to stimulate dialogue between experts from the East and West. The sessions will include:

- Keynote lectures by distinguished international leaders;
- Multidisciplinary panel discussions on evolving treatment paradigms;
- Video sessions and surgical innovation workshops;
- Translational research and clinical trial updates;
- Poster and oral presentations highlighting original scientific contributions, especially from young investigators.

The congress will bring together surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists, radiologists and basic scientists to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange across specialties. In addition to the scientific programme, participants will have the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of Çeşme in the beautiful coastal city of İzmir, where history, culture and modern science converge.
