39. International Symposium on Diabetes and Nutrition-DNSG 2022

Dear Colleagues,

it is our great pleasure and privilege to invite you to the DNSG 2022 - 39th International Symposium on Diabetes and Nutrition, in Athens, Greece which will be held from June 16 to 19, 2022.

The symposium represents the annual meeting of the Diabetes and Nutrition Study Group (DNSG) of the European Association for the study of Diabetes (EASD), which annually organizes this meeting to present the latest advances in nutrition and diabetes, stimulate scientific debate in this area of knowledge and bring together clinicians, dietitians and researchers. Every year the scientific program includes plenary sessions, panel discussions, debates, oral presentations and posters.

DNSG 2022 will be a great opportunity for sharing the latest insights of academic and industrial research on Nutrition and Diabetes as well as to experience the unique history and environment of Vravrona or Brauron. Vravrona is one of the earliest settled regions of Attica and one of the twelve original communities, united by Theseus into the Athenian city-state, located in Eastern Attica, within the municipality of Markopoulo, in between the temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounio and the city of Marathon, the site of the Battle of Marathon in 490 BCE.

After two difficult years that COVID-19 pandemic has changed the format of our meetings we hope that next year we will meet each other again. After 10 years, we are happy to host again DNSG 2022 - 39th International Symposium on Diabetes and Nutrition in Athens, Greece and we look forward to an exciting meeting that promises great scientific debate and enjoyable social interaction.
