Dear Pannonia friends and colleagues,
The pandemic situation in Slovakia and Europe as well (in spite of the starting vaccination programs) does not allow to organize the postponed 6th Pannonia Congress of Pathology (postponed from May 2020) in May (or in the second half of) 2021 in Slovakia.
Wide e-mail discussion about the options how to proceed with the arrangement of the 6th Pannonia Congress of Pathology had led to on-line conference, which was organized on Friday, Jan 15, 2021.
The conference attended by the authorized representatives of all the 6 national societies of pathology in Pannonia countries developed open minded discussion and has led to the final agreement approved by all the representatives:
The 6th Pannonia Congress of Pathology will be organized by The Slovak Society of Pathology and the Slovak Division of the IAP May 18-21, 2022 in venue Partizan, area Tale, Low Tatras, Slovakia, with the main topics Hematopathology and Pathology of the hepatobilliary tract.
The 7th Pannonia Congress of Pathology will be organized in 2024 by the Austrian Society.
It is a great honour for all of us and personally for me to continue. At the same moment I would like to ask you and all members of your societies to continue with the support of the 6th Pannonia Congress of Pathology.
We all hope that the COVID-19 pandemic situation will be powered during this year and that in 2022 all the live congress activities will be again possible.
