The 7th International Travel and Tourism Dynamics Congress (ITTD26) will be held at the Ankara Sheraton Hotel from April 15-17, 2026, hosted by the Faculty of Tourism at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, TIKA, the Yunus Emre Institute, and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB). The main theme of the congress is “Re-Designing Tourism Futures in Turkic States: From Local Roots to Global Resilience, Wellness and Intelligent Transformation,” and it aims to academically evaluate the tourism potential in the geography of the Organization of Turkic States.
The theme, “Redesigning the Future of Tourism in Turkic States: Resilience, Well-being, and Smart Transformation from Local to Global,” reinterprets tourism not merely as an economic sector, but as a transformative system integrating people, nature, and technology.
From the cultural roots of Anatolia to the healing traditions of Central Asia, and from community-based models to AI-powered smart destinations, the project aims to redesign the tourism future of Turkic states together, within a broad perspective...
