9. European Airway Management Society Congress-EAC 2026

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the European Airway Congress 2026, which will take place in Istanbul from 14–17 October 2026.

As Congress Chair, I am delighted to welcome you to a meeting designed to be dynamic, practical, and genuinely engaging both scientifically and socially. EAC 2026 will feature a rich, carefully structured program that reflects the real-world challenges of airway management in everyday clinical practice.

This year’s congress is guided by a unifying theme that reflects our shared mission across disciplines and healthcare settings:
One Airway, One Goal: Together Saving Lives. This motto captures the spirit of EAC 2026 collaboration, shared responsibility, and a collective commitment to safer airway care worldwide.

The congress will bring together a strong international faculty of highly experienced clinicians, educators, and researchers who are shaping airway management across the globe. Rather than focusing on names, the emphasis is on expertise, shared through interactive lectures, focused discussions, and practical teaching grounded in real clinical scenarios.

Our scientific program will include:

* Plenary and keynote sessions addressing current and emerging airway challenges
* Expert led discussions translating evidence into routine clinical decision making
* Hands on workshops and high fidelity simulation sessions designed to strengthen both technical and non-technical skills
* Opportunities to present and discuss original research through oral presentation sessions

In addition, EAC 2026 will offer several dedicated and highly anticipated educational courses, including:

* A Train the Airway Trainer course for those involved in teaching and faculty development
* A Resident Airway Management Course tailored to trainees at an early stage of their careers
* A focused Airway Ultrasound Course, highlighting the growing role of ultrasound in airway assessment and management

EAC 2026 is designed not only to inform, but to actively involve you to practice, to question, and to exchange experience with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and healthcare systems.

Beyond the scientific program, we have also planned enjoyable and interactive social activities, including escape room sessions, offering a fun and creative way to strengthen teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills in a relaxed setting.

Istanbul itself will be an integral part of the congress experience. From its historic neighborhoods to its vibrant streets, cuisine, and culture, the city offers countless opportunities to connect, reflect, and enjoy meaningful moments with colleagues and friends.

My goal as Congress Chair is simple: that you leave Istanbul inspired, better equipped for clinical practice, and already looking forward to the next European Airway Congress united by one airway, one goal, and a shared commitment to saving lives.
