Dear Colleagues,
on behalf of the Board of Directors of the International Society on Plasma Medicine (ISPM, http://plasmamedizin.com), it is our pleasure to invite you to take part in the 9th International Conference on Plasma Medicine (ICPM9), to be held in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht, The Netherlands, from June 27th to July 1st 2022.
As in previous editions of the ICPM conference, the ICPM will bring together professionals from the fields of plasma, medicine, biology and biochemistry in order to develop a common language, to better define key challenges and open questions and to move toward effective solutions.
Utrecht is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands and an important center for both culture and science. It hosts the second highest number of cultural events in the Netherlands, after Amsterdam, and is the home of the largest Dutch University. The conference venue, the Jaarbeurs, is an exhibition and convention center situated near the main railway station.
Associated with the ICPM9 is the first annual meeting of the COST Action “PlasTHER: Therapeutical Applications of Cold Plasmas”. COST (i.e. European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding organisation for research and innovation networks. PlasTHER COST Action aims at developing links between plasma medicine research and the medical community and patients.
This COST action started in September 2021 and will finish in 2025, with members from 25 countries.
