Asia-Pacific Extracorporeal Life Support Organization-APELSO 2019

On behalf of the organizing and scientific committees, it is a great pleasure and distinct honor to invite you to the Asia-Pacific Extracorporeal Life Support Organization 2019 Conference in Bangkok. The conference will be convened on November 20–22, 2019 at Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel, located on the west side of Chao Phraya River, a few miles south of Bangkok major tourist attractions. The main conference this year will be divided into two core parallel educational sections, one on advanced treatment for severe respiratory failure and the other on mechanical support for acute and chronic heart failure. For the cardiac support section, sessions on ventricular assist devices and other mechanical support devices will also be included. The pre-conference in-depth sessions will be comprised of the cannulation workshop, basic and advanced ECMO course, neonatal and pediatric ECMO course, and meet the expert interactive case-based discussions.

Bangkok has attracted millions of visitors annually for decades, offering tourists an incredible experience of where cultural traditions meet modernity. November is also the best time to visit Bangkok as the weather is nice and there is an annual festive occasion, Loy Krathong, which is celebrated one week prior to the conference. We have also planned a great social event for everyone, such as Thai cooking classes, Muay Thai lessons, and Thai massage.
