Following on from the huge success of BAP2018 in London, we are proud to announce BAP2019 to be held in the Northern Powerhouse, Manchester on 14th–17th July. At BAP2019, we will have even more fantastic events to offer, including special guest Jeff Smith, MP for Withington and Carlos Zarate M.D. from NIMH who will be giving our guest lecture on the hot topic of ketamine and next generation fast acting antidepressants.
The BAP Summer Meeting provides the perfect forum for all those interested in psychopharmacology, BAP members and non-members, non-clinical and clinical scientists, to come together, socialise, debate, discuss and learn about the latest advances in all aspects of psychopharmacology.
As well as the usual high quality symposia, we also have a number of exciting initiatives for our junior members, including our Buddy Scheme where a junior member teams up with a “more senior” mentor and the Trainees’ Workshop, and we provide numerous bursaries to support our younger members’ attendance. With several poster prizes, and the annual Post-Doctoral Symposium, Short Orals, Satellite Symposia, Special Sessions, Poster Sessions (posters also included on large interactive screens) and Pre-Clinical Workshop BAP 2019 will have something for everyone!
Not forgetting, of course, the Welcome Reception and Disco on Sunday and Gala Dinner at the Mercure Hotel on Tuesday.
