It is our great pleasure and honour to invite you to the ESGE 28th Annual Congress, which will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece from 6th-9th October 2019.
It is already 14 years since the ESGE 14th Annual Congress was organized in Athens. The ESGE President Prof. Grigoris Grimbizis and Congress President Prof. George Pados sincerely hope to repeat the success of that meeting and are proud to host you in their home city for the 2019 Congress. Thessaloniki is renowned for its archaeological treasures and history as well as warm hospitality.
The theme of this Congress, Primum non nocere: Maintain safety while pushing the boundaries, although described in the 4th century B.C. by Hippocrates, still remains timely and has been the driving force for ESGE scientific activities and our patient-centred approach.
The scientific programme has been streamlined to offer participants the high-quality, evidence-based topics from the contemporary developments in various disciplines of Gynaecological Endoscopy that the ESGE Annual Congress has long been known for. Furthermore, live surgical sessions and GESEA certification exams will be among the innovations of the scientific programme, which intend to provide skills to ensure better outcomes of our patients.
