International Conference on Advances and Innovations in Engineering (ICAIE) will be held at Firat University, Faculty of Engineering in Elazığ, Turkey during May 10-12, 2017 in honor of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the faculty. In 1967, the departments of Mechanical and Civil Engineering were established with the name of “High Technical School". With the establishment of more departments, the school was made a university and named as Firat University in 1975.
Firat University, with over 40000 students and 1800 academics, is one of the largest universities in Turkey. The Faculty of Engineering in Firat University provides education in 13 different departments. According to a study by University Ranking by Academic Performance, the Faculty ranks the 8th in Turkey.
ICAIE aims at presenting current researches on advances and innovations being carried out by scientists, scholars, engineers, and students from the universities all around the world in the areas of engineering. We hope that you can join us in the ICAIE with new insights.
