Oman Thoracic 2019 conference is a very comprehensive scientific program covering all aspects of chest and sleep medicine. This includes the state of the art lectures, panel discussions and hands-on workshops on the various fields of chest medicine.
The topics include Asthma, COPD, Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary hypertension, parenchymal lung diseases, pleural diseases, chest infection, lung malignancies, and Sleep disorder breathing.
The conference would give an opportunity for the delegates to listen to the national, regional and international experts in the field of respiratory medicine. This naturally will raise the standard of medical care delivered to the patients with respiratory diseases in the Sultanate, commonly respiratory diseases constitute significant morbidity accounting for absenteeism from school and work.
Many new developments are taking place in the diagnosis and management of respiratory diseases, new guidelines on the management of different problems have been recently published.
