INVITATION

The International Maritime and Port Technology and Development Conference (MTEC) is arranged every second year and alternating between Singapore and Trondheim. In 2019 it will be held in Trondheim, Norway and with a focus on ship technology and port support.
The international Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (ICMASS) has been held once before, in 2018 in Busan, Korea. In 2019 it will be held together with MTEC and will host a special track on autonomous ships and vessels systems and technology.
The conference will be held in Trondheim, November 13 to 14, 2019. While this is close to the start of the winter season in Trondheim, it is still a bustling and lively city, being the technical capital of Norway and housing many tens of thousands students. You also have the chance of experiencing Aurora Borealis, if the weather is cooperating, as well as the world’s first test area for autonomous ships.
The conference is organized by SINTEF Ocean and NTNU in Norway, co-organized by MPA, SMI, and parts of Maritime Singapore in Singapore. Partners from the International Network for Autonomous Ships co-arrange the track on autonomous transport systems. The Research Council of Norway is supporting the conference.
