The Joint Congress of the European Society for Diseases of the Esophagus and the International Gastric Cancer Association European Chapter is still alive after the pandemic.
After the terrible moments that all the world has faced due to the COVID19 emergency and the peculiar social, political and economical situation that our common home, Europe, is facing, we hope to erase the borders among the different Nations. There should not be any border between both the esophagus and stomach, and the ESDE and IGCAEuC. This is what “Beyond the Borders” means: a wish for common activities and scientific goals for our societies for the benefit of our patients.
We wish you an enjoyable and fruitful meeting in Milano.
