The Virtual Malaysian Thoracic Society Annual Congress 2020

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my great pleasure to welcome all of you to MTS Congress 2020 which will be held virtually from 10th – 13th December 2020.

Respiratory medicine has developed so much in recent years involving both diagnostic and treatment modalities in parallel with the emergence of new diseases and resurgence of old diseases. With all this in mind, we have put together a programme encompassing a wide range of topics to keep abreast with current updates. The conference will start with a workshop session on Nicotine Addiction & E-Cigarette/Vaping Product Use Associated Lung Injury which will be held virtually and Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy; after which, we will proceed with plenary sessions and symposia on both adult and paediatric respiratory medicine over the next 3 days

Our programme will include topics on Airways Diseases, Lung cancer, Interstitial Lung Disease, Respiratory infections, Pleural diseases, Interventional Pulmonology, Pulmonary Vascular Disease and Covid19 pandemic, in which eminent speakers have been invited to delve into these various topics. Specifically, for the fellows in respiratory medicine and others who may be interested, there will be interactive sessions with case discussion and quizzes to ensure that they participate actively in the programme; and the winner will take back a grand prize
