World Physiotherapy Asia Western Pacific Regional Congress 2022

It is our honor to host the World Physiotherapy Asia Western Pacific Regional Congress with the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association Conference 2022. It is an exciting event that brings together physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to exchange ideas and pursue new knowledge about the current developments and advances in a variety of specialty areas within the sphere of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Under the unprecedented challenge from COVID-19 global pandemic, we are going to present a very rewarding and comprehensive programme via a novel approach of hybrid congress. You are most welcome to join us in person or virtually from 18-20 June 2022.

The theme of this Congress is “Advancing in Physiotherapy Practice: From Institution-based to Community-based Care”. The paradigm of health service delivery has shifted from being institution-based to more community-based which is particularly significant under the issue of aging population, making health promotion and disease prevention a very critical aspect of health care. There are a wealth of keynote lectures, focused symposia, plenary sessions, poster presentations, discussion and networking sessions that will undoubtedly enrich knowledge and stimulate thinking. Pre-congress workshops by renowned experts are also elaborately arranged. We trust that you will have a rewarding experience in gaining more in-depth insight and practical skills in contemporary physiotherapy topics.
