Dear Industry colleagues, Trade partners and Friends,
Thank you for supporting the 28th Singapore Pharmacy Congress and making it a resounding success.
On behalf of the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore and the 29th Singapore Pharmacy Congress Organising Committee, I would like to invite you to return in October 2019 for our annual event, which will be held once again at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from 5th to 6th October 2019.
The Congress shall consist of a 2-day scientific programme, covering relevant areas in pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical sciences. It will feature plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and poster presentations as well as commercial exhibitions and a social event.
2019’s theme, “Educate, Engage & Empower for a Future Ready Pharmacy”, aims to focus on meeting Singapore’s future healthcare needs and challenges, in alignment with the Ministry of Health’s vision of Beyond Healthcare 2020. We hope to touch on innovative therapies to meet our patients’ needs, and solutions to improve the accessibility of healthcare to our population. In addition, we will also talk about the increasing role of technology in our healthcare landscape to improve the effectiveness of care. Lastly, we will focus on strengthening the soft skills of pharmacists to develop a new generation of communicators and leaders. We will also discuss solutions to expand the pharmacist’s role from hospital to community by collaborating in multidisciplinary care
Your participation shall be pivotal in ensuring the success of our event. We hope that you will continue to support us, and we look forward to seeing you at the 29th Singapore Pharmacy Congress.
