4. International Media Studies Symposium-IMS 2022

Dear academicians and practitioners,

It is a pleasure and privilege to welcome all the distinguished academics, researchers, and practitioners to the 4th International Media Studies Symposium (IMS 2022). We are indeed delighted to manage to organize this important scientific meeting after extraordinary times we all have gone through due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, we are also honored to have six renowned keynote speakers, to whom we present our sincere thanks for accepting our invitation to deliver their invited talks and making this symposium a reputable and esteemed one.

This symposium will be held online for all participants on May 16-18, 2022 by Akdeniz University’s Faculty of Communication. With its main theme determined as “Communication Research in Digital Society”, and seven related sub-themes and tracks, the symposium aims to provide an international forum and a virtual place for scholars and practitioners with common interests to share knowledge and experiences.

The local and international committee members of the symposium are doing their best to make this symposium a memorable experience for all participants and guests of IMS 2022 and looking forward to your presence at this prestigious event.
