On behalf of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS) and the COS Annual Meeting Planning Committee, we look forward to welcoming you to Québec City, Quebec from Thursday, June 13 to Sunday, June 16 for the 2019 COS Annual Meeting & Exhibition. This year our theme will be Leadership and Advocacy in Ophthalmology.
As the premier venue for knowledge transfer in our field, COS will host 22 international keynote speakers and will present 56 sessions offering new perspectives in ophthalmology including cutting-edge surgical innovations, state-of-the-art advances in ophthalmic diagnostics and evidence-based updates.
New this year, the COS is a hosting a full-day, joint symposium with the Société Française d’Ophtalmologie (SFO) on Thursday, June 13. This symposium will feature a full-range of topic areas in ophthalmology. In addition, Dr. Richard Mimeault, a physician advisor with the CMPA, will host a workshop on Informed Consent on Saturday, June 15. Participants will look at the importance of the information shared with the patient, the style of communication, as well as capacity and liberty.
